A very astute Pastor
Crossed her pathway
He stopped for a moment
"Will you visit me one day?"

"Oh Elizabeth
Where have you been?
Please share with me
That which you've seen"

.....She was with A grandchild
On that eventful day
"My office is in the NEW CHURCH
Do you know the way?"

.......I know your shedule
Can be demanding even STRESSFUL
Yes I know THE WAY
And yes, I am grateful

Fifteen minutes of your time
Look forward to this
A hallowed time with A Pastor
She did not want to miss.

.....It all began
On a wet rainy afternoon
When she entered his office
She observed his 'book filled' room

He made her feel comfortable
As he greeted her with a smile
Your son-in-law is an elder here
He's served faithfully a long while

His wife and children are delightful
You must be so proud
15 minutes she thought
Must not talk too loud!!!

"About your vision and giftings"
Do you know what these are?
Oh where would she start
Her journey had been so long and so far

For relaxation I write
She ventured to say
Mostly ditties, allegories
Also my prayers this way

He sat back on his chair

.....Wow! He expressed
As he opened the home site
When he read his first ditty
I wondered if everything was alright

She sat in silence
As he got up from his chair
With his arms outstretched
He hugged her right then and there

.........God Bless you he said
With a great big smile
When she returned home
She wrote another for The Large File
