This Day I Visit Hilda

This day I visit Hilda
She's 103 years of age
She teaches by example
With all she does engage

She makes one feel so special
Precious and unique
She gives us individual attention
Without even having to speak

She knows the 'Art of Welcoming'
Is never judgemental or unkind
Overlooks imperfection
Loves those who even seem blind

.....As we sit quietly together
The Word of God is read
Sometimes three chapters!!!
Then we discuss what it's said

Her wisdom and insights
Leave us amazed
She can preach with real conviction
TRUTH is never erased

.......in many people's lives
Hilda has laid THE FOUNDATION
A woman of PRAYER
With a heart for God's chosen nation

.......the Lord is her Shepherd
He leads her beside The Still Streams
Her life is a TESTIMONY
Of Our Master who redeems
