When You Beckon Your Children

When you beckon your children
To sit at your feet
By a word or a gesture
Expect an awesome treat

As we sit quietly
Placing all in your care
The love which surrounds us
Dispels all our fear

You reach out your hand
And summon us even closer
Our old selfish nature
Now comes under exposure

We are convicted of flaws
In the light of your love
You dress us in your garment
From celestial realms above

…Union with you
The King of Kings
Is expressed by unconditional love
In the arena of worldly things
