Longed For The Conductor....Listened

She longed for The Conductor
Listened for His steps
Slouched on her bed
Had not slept!

Mothers Day
2019
Why this unhappiness
JUST WHERE HAD SHE BEEN?

She tucked her head
Into the pillow
With no wind in ones sails
How could they billow

Oh so downcast
She began to sob
So failed to hear
The turn of the door knob

.......He stood beside her
But she was unaware
Every sad situation
He knew and did care

........Finally she fell
Into a deep sleep
That which she sowed
Soon she would reap

On this exhausted soul!
His hand He did place
Imparting to her
"Special GRACE"

He watched over her
The whole night through
Knowing that which she expressed
Was stark but TRUE

.......The very morning
To her surprise
The Conductor was watching
With tears in His eyes

She was overwhelmed
By His dedication and care
When she realised
All through the night He'd been there

.......The religious game
She no longer could play
The pearl of GREAT PRICE
"Closeness with Him every day!"

.......oh my beloved daughter
Jesus came to save
The lost the bereaved
Those who no longer are brave

Come to me He said
I will give you rest
A place for you is reserved
The very best

He took her hand
Squeezed it gently
"Relationship with your Maker
Cherished INTIMACY"
