He Waited For Her

He waited for her
At The Garden Gate
It was almost dawn
Her dress was not great

All tattered and torn
It had become
By many sad events
She had been emotionally undone

When she arrived
She was obviously unwell
Gently He escorted her
To an ‘Old Type Well”

“From these waters
This garden is nourished”
Everywhere she looked
The flowers flourished

.....As she drank deeply
These ‘life changing waters’
Empowered her
To activate all He had taught her

The grubby garment
Was placed on THE FIRE
The Garment of Grace
Was now her attire


.....Not condemned
Neither put down
His acceptance inspired her
To seek The Overcome’s Crown
