The Latitude Low?

The latitude low?
A very long way down
When many hollow platitudes
Seem no longer profound?

Beginning to wallow
In the depth of despair?
“An Attitude of Gratitude”
Of this virtue are we aware

……….in her awesome carriage
She lounged upon her bed
Her soul had wearied
She regretted much she had said

When the Conductor entered
In His calm and collected manner
He held in his hands
The Royal LOVE BANNER

I found this He laughed
In yonder lake
Floating in the water
Its real. Not fake!

When the storm raged
Large trees thrashed around
Many unfurled banners
Fell to the ground

Oh dear! She exclaimed
Looking quite forlorn
The banner you gave me!
Wet ragged and torn?

………When the storm came
It was kept safe and sound
Was blown to the lake
Not lost, but found

He placed it fondly
At the end of her bed
Restored and beautiful
Then he gently touched her head

………some storms come
With very little warning
It may seem to us
Like a beautiful morning

All of a sudden
We become drenched, and cold
The wind bellows loudly
And we do feel rather OLD

…….With the banner raised HIGH
And a CHANGED ATTITUDE!
No matter how bad the storm
She TREASURES……….THANKFUL GRATITUDE
