She Longed To Be Steadfast

She longed to be STEADFAST
Immovable and TRUE
To work FAITHFULLY
In what she's commissioned to do

The winter was approaching
As she walked the forest tracks
The Redwoods' so beautiful
Nothing did she lack

We all need a vision
An aim and a goal
1 Corinthians 15 verse 58
Oh to walk this old earth, WHOLE!

......She stood at the foot
Of the old Kauri tree
It's absolute magnificence
Was there for all to see

.....Manu's maid would be waiting
On this very special day
Oh to confide in Manu
In her own special way

"The Lord bless you and keep you"
His face will shone upon all those
Who love Him DEVOTEDLY
Be GRACIOUS to all He chose

.....The journey up The Mountain
With sadness and sorrow
These companions, Manu expressed
Brings 'A brighter Tomorrow'

......Manu greeted her lovingly
She showed him the uttermost respect
He was her beloved friend
His WISDOM may she reflect

.......Some ditties she wrote
When frail, and despairing
With with UNDERSTANDING COMPASSION
Manu UNDERSTOOD what she was sharing!
