She Arrived Early

She arrived early
At ‘The Garden Gate’
Stilled her thoughts
Then decided “To Wait”

Just as ‘The Sun’
Arose in the sky
He opened the gate
With relief she could cry

He placed in her hand
A pottery plate
The Kings insignia upon it
Was beautifully ornate

On this plate he placed
Three fat round seeds
“These would sprout and grow
And provide ‘health giving feeds”

.....By ‘The River Bank’
These seeds were planted
Many rested here
And their requests were granted.
