As The Sun Sets Upon Earth

As the sun sets upon earth
Heaven has prepared a ‘SPECIAL PLACE’
For a faithful beloved Father
Who’s portrayed HOPE, LOVE and GRACE

OUR LORD is now calling him
He has heard his call
He has fought ‘The good fight’
Faithfully he has toiled

The world stands united
Protestants and Catholics both grieve
All the prayers and gratitude
Are as a sweet offering, received

Death is not parting
But a short wait
Until we are reunited
In our eternal state

…As the sun goes down
Our hearts look above
As we release to OUR HEAVENLY FATHER
The earthly Father, WE LOVE
