His abode is His cottage
He is Chronically unwell
Congestive heart failure, the verdict
Few do we tell

Doctors and hospitals
Are part of her existence
Taking him to appointments
Without much thought or resistance

.......Eyes recently tested
Unchanged in two years
Teeth cleaned and examined
.....A Blood test is in arrears

Six amazing grandchildren
All progressing so well
Ruth studying medicine
Our family drinks from a rather deep well

Share my home In The Hills
With two with "A Special Need "
In this cosy safe environment
On free range eggs and vegetables we feed

.......Out sister went suddenly
On the 23rd July
Diagnosed twenty years ago
With Alpha 1 condition, maybe why?

Unrealistic workload!
Blood pressure will rise?
Sore on lower leg
Right dressing would be wise

Always grateful
For your listening ear
And sound informed advice
When I eventually get here!
