On The Ninth Day Of February

On the ninth day of February
My life was changed
When a babe was born
Routines were re-arranged

“Your grand-daughter is adorable”
Our daughter expressed
What a treasure she’s become
Her life is so blest

“These fifteen years
You have answered our prayers
As we certainly belong
To a Creator who cares”

“May her many giftings
Continue to be
An inspiration
To the wider family...”

.....We walked the beach
She and I
“Upon Eagles wings
May she always fly”

9th February 2011-02-09

But those who trust in the Lord
Will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
