She gazed at THE STATION

She gazed at The Station
With amazement and awe
There were fountains, great lights
Many people and much more

Most seemed in a hurry
With an agenda of their own
Some had lost their way
So stood still all alone…

Suddenly two trains
Stopped at the platform
One displayed THE KINGS flag
And was modestly adorned

The other flashed lights
Enticing people to come
And enjoy this world’s pleasures
And indulge in self, number one

What a dilemma
She was given a choice
Would she listen
To the ‘self centred’ voice
Or would she choose
The way of LIFE and LIGHT
Overcome the negative
And walk the path that is right

…The station looked beautiful
That afternoon
Both trains would depart
On their journeys very soon

…Suddenly someone
Took her by the hand
And guided her to the train
Bound for The Promised Land

It is your choice
He said with compassion
Which train will you travel on?
What is your passion?

…She walked past the train
Representing me, myself and I
Then responded quickly
To my old nature I will die

Very thoughtfully
She climbed on the Kings train
Which took her on A Journey
Of humility, not fame

…At the end of her journey
She entered Heavens gate
Manu wispered.....
With her best mate
