Are Some Souls So Stubborn?

Are some souls so STUBBORN
We can't STOP and hear
In our informative years
Were we deafened in one ear

Did we listen to our loved ones?
And CHANGE our OLD WAYS?
Or did inadequate habit patterns
Haunt us to THE END of our days

When times got tough
Did we drink excess alcohol
Totally unaware we were digging
A deep dark unhealthy hole

Was our example
Exemplary
Did we 'point The Finger'
Make excuses frequently

Were we totally unaware
Of our folly, state and fate
Putting other things
Before our life long faithful mate

Did we not realise
We reap what we sow
Father HEAL and RESTORE us
Into MATURITY may we grow

.......Now United with OUR MAKER
Because Jesus His Son
Loves and redeems us
RESTORATION has begun
