The Cross And It's Symbol

THE CROSS and it's symbol
Upon which our Saviour died
Represents our protection
From every voice that's lied

Any dubious statement
Unaligned with God's Holy Word
Before The CROSS of Jesus
Becomes ineffective, even absurd

When worldly cares assault us
When Flummoxed or distressed
Beneath THE CROSS of Jesus
Every care is lovingly addressed

Our Master's CROSS He carried
He paid The Price for every wrong
He is The King of Kings
To Him we belong

.......Upon The CROSS He suffered
He was mocked, beaten abused
Forgiveness and LIFE He gives
His GRACE some have refused

On The CROSS His life was sacrificed
He obeyed His Fathers will
Redeemed The Human Race
Healed the lame, broken, the ill

.......Before THE CROSS of Jesus
Every foe shall flee
He cleanses by His blood
Sets the repentant FREE

Nothing we have done
Deserves this ACT of LOVE
God so loved the world
He sent His Son from above

.......Because Jesus made this sacrifice
Love conquers every fear
He's our refuge Redeemer and friend
This message we prayerfully share
