The Train Stopped Suddenly

The train stopped SUDDENLY
In the midnight hour
"At dawn we alight"
Said The Conductor, not now

She laid her head on the pillow
Stilled every thought
This journey over a LIFETIME
So much had been taught

.......At the crack of dawn
Before the rooster crowed
She alighted with The Conductor
Her gown the wind blowed

Where were we heading
She had no idea
So she trusted HIS GUIDANCE
Which He made oh so clear

They walked through a field
Then over a bridge
Through a small town
Over yonder ridge

Then we sat together
For a very long while
Had a long conversation
Which made us both smile

.......we arrived back at The Station
As the clock struck eleven
With Happy Memories to share
Of "Glimpses of Heaven" !!!
