My Dear Friend

My dear friend.....
She lives high in the hills
Here the air is clear
And the environment ‘so still’

The cows graze contentedly
And the hens run free
In this place of refuge
She writes ditties prolifically

.....Forty four years ago
She received a solitaire diamond ring
To have it remodelled
Was an unthinkable thing

A symbolic ring
Dear to her heart
Now a NEW RING she wears
As A NEW ERA will start

She needed much courage
To make life changing decisions
As she had been taught
To bring HARMONY out of division

.....This NEW ring is symbolic
So what's written on Heavens scrolls
May be etched on willing hearts
That our soul will become whole
