She Entered In Despair

She entered The Carriage
In the depth of despair
Much had been happening
Was she aware ?

She sat on her bed
Placed her head in her hands
Despondent she'd become
Because of constant demands

Were her needs greater
Than those she cared for?
Without a doubt
Her spirit was poor

.......She did not sleep
Was too overwhelmed to cry
Something within
Had laid down to die

.......gently the conductor
Took her hand
He neither pushed or pulled
Expect more or demand

He knew the challenges
Of The Human Race
WARS OF A NEW TYPE
Many nations now face

.......He sat with her
Through that long dark night
Comforting, strengthening
Understanding our plight
