A New Path Will Be Formed

A New Path will be formed
Which God’s people will tread
This route has never been used
Our Maker had said

There will be shouting and rejoicing
As His people proceed
The roar of God will be amidst them
As in Sovereign Power He will lead

Those bowed down low
He will lift their heads
He will exalt the lowly
And abase the proud He had said

That which has been out of order
Will be corrected or removed
Crooked places will be straightened
And rough places made smooth

He will place His people
Where He has ordained them to be
The last will be first
And old pains will vanish completely

Much rejoicing and gladness
As Our Lord does GREAT THINGS
A New Beginning
Healing and restoration He now brings

Mountains will be removed
His people shall not be ashamed
Our God will receive all the Glory
As His Holy Name is constantly acclaimed
