HURT PEOPLE, Hurt People!

Hurt people, hurt people
We have come to believe!
Another's emotional baggage
Is never nice to receive

.......She knocked on Manu's door
In a stricken state
The night was dark
The hour was late

The Maid wasn't surprised
She'd seen so much before
Her life was an example
Of "Loves Royal Law" ♥️

....."Oh do come in
And sit beside me"
Manu called from his chair
So invitingly

She lowered her eyes
With a sense of shame
She would not make excuses
Or put on another the blame

"Toughen up, some say
Be brave, let go"
But still her heart ached
The source she needed to know

.......Manu spoke to the Maid
In his compassionate way
"We need a helper
Ask if she'd like to stay"

We need someone like you
With a sensitive heart
Oh yes she replied
"When can I start"

.......here you will be treated
With tender LOVE and CARE
You will Nurture The Hurting
Those who find their way here

.......you will not hit their wounds
Their scar, their sore place
As your will understand intuitively
The true meaning of grace

You will help many
To face the pain in their soul
Receive God's healing balm
Become confident and whole

.......God so loved the world
He GAVE his only Son
Those who believe in Him
Know A New Start has begun
