Someone Is Knocking

Someone is knocking
On Manu's door
The maid dutifully opened it
And was shocked to The core

Whatever is the matter
Manu expressed
The tray of food they'd received
Was NOW to be addressed

The maid placed it on the table
Next to simple unadulterated food
She knew in her heart
Manu never was rude

We could give it to the poor
Was her first thought
But this also was in conflict
With all she'd been taught

.......Manu enjoyed the REAL meal
It was so easy to prepare
No preservatives or additives
For they were aware

To eat as God intended it
Not as man has mucked it up
Health giving Wholesome food
With pure water in their cup

Diets and fad foods
Never part of their lifestyle
Vegetables from their garden patch
Are gathered daily with a smile

.......Unprocessed food
Whole and real
Homemade olive oil dressings
Oh so good these make us feel

.......when the lady returned
To collect her tray
Manu as always was gracious
And invited her to stay

She sat at his table
With family and friends
And realised that WHOLESOME food
Brings unwell ness to an end

.....INSPIRED she went home
With a Whole food Cook book
Totally changed her lifestyle
Became A very wise cook

"It is not about taking out"
She now will say
Simply eat the RIGHT food
AND Enjoy ABUNDANT LIFE, God's WAY
