These Sixteen Years

These sixteen years
Upon a wilderness trail
You drew Living Waters
With a heavy pail

My daughter rejoice
For deep within your soul
An eternal stream will flow
As you do your unique role

For those trained in this desert
The day is nigh
When you comfort many
Who grieve and cry.

Those who clutch at straws
You will give a strong rope
That’s entwined with understanding
Unconditional Love and Hope

.....God’s word is your jewel box
You are precious and rare
His Word you hide in your heart
With sensitivity His Gems you share.

“I have hidden your word in my heart,
That I might not sin against you’
