Two Very Ugly Sisters

Two very ugly sisters
Went to a ball
One was very short
And one was very tall

One was dressed in Crimson
The other adorned in white
Neither of them looked exquisite
Had they got it right?

The ball was in their honour
To celebrate their worth
Both of them won accolades
They'd been gifted from their birth

.......well the dancing continued
Late into the night
The champagne flowed freely
To everyone's delight

A gentleman arrived
From another place
He observed the ugly sisters
In their gowns of silk and lace

The awards they'd received
Were displayed for all to view
His heart overflowed with compassion
For they knew not what they do

"The things of Eternal Value
Virtues hidden for all to find
The wisdom in The Scriptures
Open eyes dimmed or blind"

.......did anyone speak to him?
Did anyone even care ?
Did he receive A Royal welcome ?
Of His presence were we aware?

.......neither of the ugly sisters
Danced with him that night
Maybe they were preoccupied
With the concepts they thought were right

......The Conductor related this story
With tears in his eyes
Are we Obsessed with SELF gratification ?
In A Worldly System sprinkled with lies
