The Emperors New Clothes 2020 What Now!

The Emperors NEW clothes!
How naive could He be
Presenting himself to his people
Somewhat confidently

That which he was lacking
As well as his clothes
He did not DISCERN
ALL THINGS OUR MAKER knows

.........He paraded through the streets
Telling the crowds HIS PLANS
His proposals for THE NATION
Were these from God or from man?

......Was he like a puppet
Duped by crooked advice
DISHONEST TAILORS LIES?
His fake suit was not nice!

The crowd waved and cheered
Unable to face THE REALITY
FOR FEAR OF BEING BANISHED
From the establishment, SUDDENLY

.....so the procession continued
Around the city blocks
The flags still WAVED
Some could not hide their shock

They adjusted their glasses
Cleaned their lenses
That which they saw
To many was offensive

As they shouted their support
Some looked the other way
As he turned the corner
On that confusing day

A very small child
SHOUTED at the top of her voice
"Why has our Emperor
Made a very strange CHOICE?"

Parading down the streets
Without any clothes on
When TOTALLY NAKED
She knew RIGHT from WRONG

Her mum tried to quieten her
But TRUTH had been SPOKEN
The spell over His Kingdom
SUDDENLY was broken

MASSIVE THUNDER
FILLED THE SKIES
LIGHTENING FLASHED
BEFORE their EYES

His AIDS put up black umbrellas
As the rain hurtled down
Cleansing away THE DELUSION
Where fear and Lies are FOUND

.......This story written
Through a VIOLENT THUNDER STORM
A great shaking!
No need to be forlorn

For The Lord God OUR CREATOR
Replied to His servant Job
"DO YOU WANT TO ARGUE WITH THE ALMIGHTY"?
For His ANSWERS do we probe?

Can we humans THUNDER
WITH A VOICE LIKE HIS
JOB WAS SILENCED
And repented like this

"I am nothing
I have spoken out of turn
I have nothing more to say"
Oh to wisely LEARN and discern

"I know you can do anything
No one can stop you
I was talking in ignorance
I will NOW listen to what's TRUE
