The Protestors Arrived - HISTORICAL DAY

The protestors arrived
On that HISTORICAL day
They ranted and raved
Had their say

Manu listened
With Fatherly care
He heard their every word
That they did share

With Great Compassion
On his countenance
He listened to their concerns
Their beliefs he didn't denounce

He walked amongst them
Showing admirable respect
It was not their fault
They had suffered neglect

.....they raised their banners
Some shouted obscenities
Then a strange thing happened
Many dropped to their knees
As a warm wind from Heaven
Swept through the trees
Delicious fruit fell on the ground
Many exclaimed, MIRACULOUSLY!

.......A Nation divided!
Not any more
