SELF WILL said "NO"

SELF WILL said "NO"
God's Spirit said "WAIT"
Would she rebel, or yield?
As she faced her perceived fate

She fell on her knees
And pleaded her case
Placed her name on 'The prayer chain'
Asked for mercy and grace?

She set her will stubbornly
For all The FAITH she could muster
Made an emotional appeal
While in a blind fluster"

.......she entered The Gate
Of her 'garden of delight'
Her Master was waiting
Late that night

Some had prayed all day
But missed the one clue
Had she asked her Master
"What would HE like her to do???"

.......He looked down at her
With compassion on His face
"My people he confided
Are all under my GRACE"

When I came to earth
A great sacrifice was made
As I wept in the garden
A FOUNDATION was laid"

I begged my Father
He heard my prayer
"Not my will but your will"
He knew my anguish, my fear"

.......Some challenges
Are not easy to achieve?
Our Father knows Best
As we TRUST and BELIEVE

He knows how deep rooted
Ones OLD NATURE can be
By His Sovereign Power
Sin's revealed sensitively

......In The Garden that evening
Christ's humanity was revealed
Because He surrendered His will
We are redeemed, forgiven and healed

.........🏆She stood amazed
Surrendered TOTALLY
Even that vestige of SELF INTEREST
She yielded willingly

......Not my will but your WILL
Aligned with The Lords Prayer.....
"In acceptance lies peace".......
His PRESENCE drew near

Our SOVEREIGN GOD
Brings RESTORATION, THIS DAY
As His Fully SURRENDERED T E A M S
REVEAL! "THE WAY" ~~ HIS WAY
