He Attaches The Lead

.....He attaches the lead
“J Jay come”, he states
“Sit” then “stay”
They are good mates
So Jay co-operates
As if he understands
Even when he’s given
‘Unusual commands’!.....

.....When a child with Asperger
Took J Jay for his walk
She became aware
To observe and not talk
As a special form of bonding
Was taking place
As they ran along the beach
At the Papillion’s pace

No more flapping
Or creating a scene
Just a boy with his dog
Looking happy and serene

.....On arriving home
He gave J Jay a drink
Then tied him to his chair
Which made her think
That a ‘special need child’
With a loving pet
May reveal another dimension
Which we haven’t seen yet
