At The Place Of Springs

At The Place of springs
Lived a beautiful cat
When he found this home
He snuggled up on ‘A Mat’

He had been homeless - For a very long while
His personality seemed divided - He seldom did smile

Often in the evening
When snuggled up by THE FIRE
He would share the precious things
That Our Maker requires

“To love and honour Him
Put Him first in our life
Be willing to place upon HIS ALTER
All that may cause strife”

.....The rug which he settled on
He took to the Wood Shed
It became damp and wet
No longer a warm cosy bed

With profound sadness - She hung it over the gate
Cleaned it thoroughly - Until it looked GREAT

This old precious rug
Discarded as junk?
“It’s evil”, the cat said
Then her heart sunk

Some belief systems
Have a foundation of lies
Resulting in abnormal behaviour
Far removed from what's WISE

It was not only the rug - That disappeared
In strange places - Items often reappeared

.....One day his tail - Went to and fro
And the one who fed her – Received a ferocious blow

Some of us are in need
Of professional help, she said
With a supportive family and doctor
We cease being ‘wonky in the head’

How many times
Had she remained silent?
Her heart was sore
Because she’d been compliant

.....Thankfully The Conductor
Heard her desperate prayer
Healing comes when ‘belief systems’
Change TO LOVE from Fear

“God is love, and all who live in love live in God and God lives in them.
And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.

“Such love has no fear,
Because perfect love expels all fear”
