Because My Lord Is My Shepherd

Because my Lord is my Shepherd
I have all that I need
He let’s me rest in the meadow
In His presence, I feed
Then He leads me gently
Beside quiet streams
Here He restores my failing health
My soul He redeems

By His grace and empowerment
He helps me do what honours Him
When I walk death’s dark valley
I don’t fear, as my sin
Is forgiven and forgotten
Yes, He walks close by my side
In a quiet abiding relationship
As I trust Him to lead and to guide.

Delicious food
For me He provides
In the presence of my enemies
And in His secret place I hide.

As His guest
He has welcomed me
His blessings overflow
Abundantly

His goodness and mercy
Follow me all my days
I will live in His eternal home
Forever and ever, always
