The agony and the ecstasy of the life of faith

WE LANGUISH LORD


We languish Lord far past our prime

We languish Lord for much of the time

We languish Lord as the days go endlessly by

We languish Lord our lives a big sigh

We languish Lord after all that has been

We languish Lord at so much that is unseen

We languish Lord for our battles have been hard

We languish Lord having been dealt such a card

We languish Lord having given you our all

We languish Lord waiting the outworking of our call

We languish Lord holding on as strongly as we can

We languish Lord as you hold back the dam

WE CELEBRATE LORD

We celebrate Lord your goodness to us too

We celebrate Lord that your wisdom is true

We celebrate Lord that you know what you are doing

We celebrate Lord that in you we are viewing

We celebrate Lord your times and your seasons

We celebrate Lord that in all things you have your reasons

We celebrate Lord at the peace this does bring

We celebrate Lord and our hearts want to sing

We celebrate Lord in the midst of the hardness

We celebrate Lord for it produces in us much goodness

We celebrate Lord simply accepting our fate

We celebrate Lord you are never too soon or too late
