Father I Believe - The Tray - The Goodies

Father I believe
That you would say
Wait, WAIT, W A I T
For this is the day
Your Sons and Daughters
Cease self centred ambition
The World Wide Web
Reveals true repentant, contrition

A remorseful heart
You hold close to your own
Oh to reflect your Glory
May your TRUTH be known

.........Her carriage was delightful
This journey had no end
In The Eternal realms
She would reunite with many friends

Those she had cared for
Those she had taken into her home
The many children
She had loved as her own.

She pulled up the duvet
Over her knees
Yes she would WAIT
Her Maker she would please

......The Conductor closed the door
That was slightly ajar
Time to REST he confirmed
You have walked oh so far

So she laid back her head
And peacefully slept
Maybe forty years
A prayer diary she had kept?

........The Kings Train continued
On its journey, each day
Those in "His Training"
Knew the exact, things to say!

HIS LIVING WORD
Shared with clarity
From a yielded soul
That pursued Purity

........The Conductor woke her
The very next morning
The birds were singing
As the sun was dawning

He held A tray with both hands
She gasped with surprise
Her emotions
She could not disguise

.......yes this is the SAME TRAY
Jesus held for you to behold
When you walked upon the sheep trails
Less than seven years old

What did you see
"Many goodies", I replied
"True to His promises
Yes with Him I confide"

........This tray was placed
On her knees
Overwhelmed
At all she now sees

She bowed her head
And quietly did WAIT
With His hand upon her shoulder
She ate His Bread from His Plate

......."His Kingdom come
His will be done
On earth as in Heaven
The Victory is Won

God so loved the world
His only Son He gave
Believe and receive
Be BOLD. BE BRAVE
