A Sensitive Soul

A sensitive soul
And a stubborn human being!
She was walking in the dark
Not clearly seeing

Her family were aware
Her health was compromised
On her way to Manu’s Mansion
Tears flooded her eyes

He would know her Delma
This wise old owl
Read her thoughts
At her never growl

…….her loving family
Had observed her pain
For almost sixty years
Listened to her sad refrain

Over and over
And over again
Until they became wearied
And made their views quite plain

…….Ridged habit patterns
Formed in informative years
Causing self destructive behaviour
Bringing their family to tears

…….far in the distance
She now saw the mansion lights
It was the end of the day
Such a comforting sight

…….Suddenly beside her
A person took her hand
One of Manu’s servants
From this beautiful land

She looked at him bewildered
How did you know?
My soul has become wearied
That’s why I’m going so slow

………No words were spoken
The rest is History
Eventually Manu and her
Wrote this ditty

Stubborn behaviour
Not only hurts others
Compromises ones own health
Some TRUTHS take time to discover

………as she sat at Manus feet
His wisdom flowed like cool water
Which she bathed her weary feet in
GRACE and LOVE he taught her

……Restoration comes
When a wise soul understands
Listens with empathy
Without selfish demands

Pride leads to disgrace
With humility comes wisdom
As we pursue good judgement
The route to lasting freedom
