Sensitive people
Need Love and care
A very warm climate
In which to share

Even a frown - A disapproving look
May shut them up - Like a tightly closed book

They can't share their feelings
So retire all alone
And ordinary people
May not know that they groan

So a hard exterior - May be survival walls
Let's be supportive - And stand up tall...

...Then speak by example
In a precise way
Judge another
And he may sway
Totally completely
In another direction
Because we were harsh
And lacked discretion.

The way of love
Listens and learns
Upbuilds, believes
And quietly discerns
Exactly where
A soul is at
And this may not be done
After one wee chat

A wounded soul
Needs lots of grace
Lots of love
If he's to face
Parts of his life
Too hard to share
So lets be sensitive
Upbuilding and fair.

A sensitive person
May not reveal
His innermost thoughts
The hurts that he feels
Until he can trust
Us not to react
And shatter him further
By our lack of tact

Loyalty, love
Sincerity, trust
Loving support
Is a must
If we desire
To bring people through
To feeling the love
Of Our Creator, in you.
