When our son was young!

When our son
Was still quite young
He asked me a question
A well thought out one

Mother he said
You have good typing skills
So the ditties you write
The many pages these fill

Should be placed on a computer
And shared with many
I simply replied
Money, ain’t got a penny

When my sister rang me
I told her what he’d suggested
“How much is a computer?
Maybe your gift has been neglected”

I suggest you ask Michael
How much would one would cost
These ditties are precious
Sad if they were lost

……..Michael provided a computer
That Patti had paid for
I was overwhelmed
Couldn’t ask for more

Now all you need is a website
A cheap one will do
But I was concerned
To myself I must be true

If I am to do this
I will not scrimp and scrape
We will find the right person
And a lovely website make

As my younger sister
Is an amazing cook
At a recipe website
She asked me to look

……The rest is History
Place of springs was born
With beautiful graphics
It was adorned

The artist told me
She had felt inspired
She had created exactly
That which was desired

,,,,,Oh dear I then thought
Do I really want to share
These private ditties
To many Everywhere!

……..many years have passed
Since placeofsprings was born
What an awesome privilege
How could I ever be forlorn

…..I NOW SIT BY THE WOOD FIRE
Holding three golden pens
Four adorable Silkies in the garden
When will these stories END???
