The Carriage Was Dark (Easter 2012)

The Carriage was dark
How could she sleep
Those misunderstood
Down ‘the other side’ NOW leap

The ‘Mountain of Learning’
Where deprivations are known
Self ego is stripped
Icy winds here are blown!

The ‘old selfish nature’
Pretends it is dead
In His steps, by obedience
We learn to be led

Oh where is OUR REST?
Can we admire THE VIEW?
The other side of THIS MOUNTAIN
Is unclear, obscure.

.....Sandals are worn
Heart’s are torn
Fog covers THE SUMMIT
The soul is forlorn

.....Called Chosen
Set Apart
Disciplined, anointed
LIFE these will impart.

Repentance, revival
Restored, SET FREE
Enlightenment valid
For all Eternity.

.....The Armies of Heaven
Clothed ‘in Pure White Linen’
Serve their Master
Who releases humans from prison

Not by might
Neither by power
But by MY SPIRIT
This hour, right NOW *
