Manu Was Deep In Thought

Manu was deep in thought
So the maid didn’t speak
He had been preoccupied
For more than a week

His heart seemed heavy
Yet he remained gracious and kind
To the village peoples needs
All knew he was never blind

…At last his faithful maid
Ventured to speak
What has been concerning you
This past week?

Manu replied
With a tear in his eye
As he shared these thoughts
Both began to cry

…’Purity listens
Purity hears
Purity responds graciously
Purity is nice to be near

Purity and Holiness
Are supernaturally entwined
These virtues are displayed
In mature people, I find'


.....Goodness and mercy
Surrounded them every day
As Manu bought enlightenment
Of His Master's Way

and right,
and pure,
and lovely,
and admirable.
Think about things that are excellent
and worthy of praise'.
