STROLLING IN THE FOREST

STROLLING in The FOREST
Scrambling past THE TREES
Stressed and exhausted
She fell upon her knees

Even despairing
Of being on the right track
A sense of wellbeing
Sadly she did lack

Itchy, frustrated
Many tears she’s shed
Written in her diary
Many prayers were said

To find an answer
Seemed out of her control
Had she somehow bypassed
Her own unique role?

……….TIME was ticking
Another season would come
In this place of desolation
How would Gods will be done?

….Her beloved Grand daughter
Revealed the reason why
“You are more than capable
To do that which you try”

“You have done the hard yards
Relax and BE FREE
You have taught us so much
Nanna relax. Just Be”

……….Then on she walked
Amidst stunning scenery
On reaching three waterfalls
She’d unpack her picnic basket, carefully

…….With her now out of sight
She hugged an old Kauri tree
Now a threatened Species
Protected, devotedly!

……….she enjoys writing ditties
Any time any place
Often about the incidents
That in life we face

So she sat on the log
Next to the giant Kauri
The one she had touched
With a protective empathy

With her GOLDEN PEN
And her pad upon her knees
She began to write
A ditty like one of these!

…….Presently her granddaughter
Walked back up the hill
This astute caring young Doctor
Senses when one is feeling ill

Again she smiled sweetly
“Nanna’s have much to share
A joy seeing you writing
Even here! There, EVERYWHERE!”
