She Flapped On The Ground

She flapped on the ground
Her leg was broken
Her heart was wounded
By cruel words spoken

Some in the forest
Judged her relentlessly
But she remained steadfast
And replied graciously

.......we are part of "The Team"
You would hear her say
Many are being prepared
For these "End Time Days"

For some of us birds
The journey has been long
As we needed to comprehend
What is TRUTH and what's wrong

.......That which she communicated
Fell on deaf ears
In a reclusive place
She'd remained for years

.......now Manu was loving
Perceptive and kind
To ones station in life
He was not blind

So he said to his maid
One cold winters night
Find the bird that hobbles
The bird with "The Sight"

.......After much searching
The Maid found her home
She was protected by her family
Loved, respected, well known

......."Manu requests your company"
She dutifully said
As you belong in His Team
She followed where The Maid led

......."oh where have you been
Manu said graciously
I have been searching everywhere
"Please join me immediately"

"God has preserved you
For such a time as this"
This amazing opportunity
Who would ever want to miss

.......Eagles fly high
In the midst of the storm
They find the wind currents
With strength they are adorned

They soar effortlessly
Majestically
Fulfilling their unique role
At this time in history"

.......the owl and The Eagle
In their golden years
Shared their wisdom and sight
With those with the ears to hear
