TESTIMONY - Jesus Came To Me

Jesus came to me
As seven year old child
He held a large tray
At me He smiled

I was walking the sheep tracks
On the side of a hill
When I turned and saw Him
So stopped and stood STILL

.....He was clothed in a garment
Displaying PERFECT folds
Translucent, white
AWESOME to behold

His VISITATION
Is with me to this day
He is PERFECTION
In every possible way....

........As we lived in the back blocks
On a 17 hundred acre farm
Our life was uncluttered
Simple, quiet and calm

My mother was unwell
My Father old and wise
School and Sunday school correspondence
Bought many a surprise

.....I gazed at the tray
My whole being longed to see
What was on that tray
Were their goodies for me???

Being so isolated
We seldom went to town
Lollies and treats in our home
Were seldom found or around

Maybe there are treats?
What did I see
A tray full of GOODIES
Especially for me

........70 years have past
My Testimony is AMAZING
God is TRUE to His Word
In His GREEN PASTURE, we are grazing

Our unique pathway
Our GROWTH TO MATURITY
To reach our fullest potential
We GRADUALLY see with clarity

.......Through the eyes of a young child
Strolling on the sheep lanes
The pleasant things He's given her
For all ETERNITY will remain

Our Father in Heaven
We HONOUR your Holy Name
Real Relationship......Not Religion
Because TO EARTH, JESUS CAME

Proverbs Chapter 3 verse 5

(My brother, his wife and children still faithfully farm
Beautiful Bothwell.
Bothwell is The family farm bought 100 years ago by our grandfather
John Mortley Leigh.
His Father served in the Crimean War and originally settled in Christchurch.
Lest we forget!)
My Father was 22 years old when his Father passed away, so took over the responsibility of Bothwell.
My Brother was 21 years old when our Father passed away and has faithfully farmed Bothwell ever since.
