A Golden Eagle

A Magnificent Golden Eagle
Dwelt in a chook house
From a great distance
He could see a small mouse

The Free Range Hens
Discussed his plight
“Is he unaware they clucked
Of his exceptional precise sight”

“He is a Hunting Bird
Oblivious of his station
Eagles build their nests high
Where they can view The Nations”

.....The arrogant rooster
Then ‘stood his ground’
“He is making us uncomfortable
As he’s too profound to have around”!

.....When he left their chook home
Some had tears in their eyes
Now totally Liberated
He flies HIGH in THE SKIES

Hosea Chapter Nine verse eight

“The prophet is a watchman ......yet traps are laid for him wherever he goes.
He faces hostility even in the house of God”

Isaiah Chapter 41

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

2 Corinthians Chapter 4 verse 8 and 9

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed.
We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.
We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God.
